Ode to Cait

Our youngest girl has a great list of friends. Among these are her roomate and ride or die, Cait, who has an upcoming birthday. Cait is a terrific young lady, and hails from Gods country of Hawkinsville, Georgia. Cait is hilarious, and her antics keep us in stitches. She is close with her family, in particular her Grandmother. Anyone who is close with their Grandmother is ok by me. She is also a triplet! I have never met her sisters or any of the rest of her family, but Cait is a credit to all of them. Everyone needs a friend like Cait. Cait writes poems for her friends for their birthday or other significant events, an indicator of her being a special friend to many as well as a testament to her humor and creativity.  On the occasion of her birthday, I have sent her this---we hope she has a great Birthday!

 Kate. Kait. Cait

Cait is great. Her name is Irish— which means ‘pure’—and she’s a pure delight, that’s for sure! Her name is telling, regardless of spelling, it doesn’t matter if you’re buying or selling.

Effervescent in every way, she always seems to brighten one’s day.

Cait. Cate. Kate

Cait is great. She’s almost 28.

A smart, funny, and pretty young lass,

If you diss her, she will kick your ass.

Cait. Kate. Cate

If you wear a frown, Cait will turn it upside down-She makes you feel great whenever she’s around. She will even take you out on the town. A force of nature, no matter the occasion, even on her many vacations.

She’ll still be great when she turns 28-but now she’s in heaven cause she’s just 27.

At 27 you can still have sleepovers—Hell, you’re a decade younger than my loafers.

She’s a great friend to Lyndsay, which will drive you to the edge—but Cait’s always there —to talk her off the ledge.

And you know she’s

A triplet, with two other sisters, J and L—all three are great— but there’s only one Cait.

Happy Birthday to the one and only Cait!

(She’s great. And she’s almost 28).
